Abstract

In modern web development, high performance and responsiveness are critical. React [1], a leading JavaScript library, enables dynamic web applications but requires careful optimization to maintain efficiency. This paper highlights the critical importance of React [1] performance optimization, exploring its impact on scalability and user experience. We analyse React [1]'s architecture, focusing on the virtual DOM and component lifecycle. Advanced techniques such as reducing re-renders, optimizing state management, memoization, lazy loading, code splitting, and hooks are discussed. Additionally, the paper evaluates server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) for initial load optimization and SEO benefits. [2] Through case studies and benchmarks, we demonstrate the practical benefits of these strategies. This paper provides a strategic roadmap for developers to optimize React [1] applications, ensuring high performance and competitiveness in the digital landscape. [3]
